Gerutha is a community interest company, specialising in third sector performance improvement. Founder and CEO Amanda Foister OBE identified an opportunity to enable charities and not for profit organisations to streamline their business processes, improve operational efficiency and reduce costs through the provision of flexible business support across finance, hr, marketing and business development. They also offer support for fundraising, governance, setting up a charity and providing executive leadership on a part-time basis.

A member of the team had created a basic style guide including a logo and a colour palette. Amanda, the CEO, approached Outside The Square to use the style guide as a starting point but to create a website that was aimed at smaller charities and was fun and playful.

The approach we took was to source a cartoon vector toolkit and build a website that drew on the essence of charitable work to illustrate the site.
